Job Description

Seeking an analytical-minded Actuary based in Pretoria to contribute to various projects focused on insurance and risk management. Your primary responsibility will involve forecasting, modelling, and advising on financial strategies that align with our clients' goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance products and their performance in the market.
• Perform risk assessments for various clients and sectors to inform business strategy.
• Generate data models to support actuarial pricing and financial forecasting.
• Provide expert advice on financial implications of different insurance strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for client meetings and regulatory submissions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Fellowship with the Actuarial Society of South Africa is preferred.

Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in actuarial roles, especially in insurance or finance.
