You will manage projects from initial consultation through to final execution, ensuring all designs meet client expectations and comply with relevant regulations. Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to make space planning and design decisions.
• Draft design plans using CAD software.
• Research and compile design inspirations from various sources.
• Participate in trade shows and design expos.
• Oversee installation of designs and last-minute changes on-site.
• Ensure designs are fit for purpose and sustainable.
• Mentor junior designers and interns in design practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Interior Design or related (Architectural degree preferred)
• Certification by a recognized design institution is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in commercial and residential design

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Space Planning

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Smart Home Technologies: Knowledge of integrating smart home solutions in design.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role: Experience interacting with clients throughout projects.
