As a Clinical Psychologist at our Bloemfontein branch, you will engage directly with clients to offer psychological assessments and therapy. Your insights will help shape effective treatment strategies tailored to each individual's needs, contributing to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological consultation to clients and their families.
• Conduct research and contribute to the development of clinical programs.
• Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
• Develop and lead community outreach programs.
• Contribute to the overall strategic goals of the mental health division.

Requirements

Education

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology
• HPCSA Registration Required

Experience

• 5+ years of post-graduate clinical experience.

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• CPD Accredited Certification in Clinical Psychology

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Crisis intervention experience: Experience working with clients in crisis situations.
• Familiarity with ethical guidelines: Strong understanding of ethical standards and guidelines in psychology.
