Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Accountant to join our Johannesburg office. The role requires a commitment to excellence in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. You'll work closely with other departments to deliver insightful financial guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee payroll and ensure accuracy in salary calculations.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the auditing process.
• Maintain and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support cost analysis and internal financial controls.
• Participate in financial reporting system improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or similar qualification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
