Job Description

As a Climate Change Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting detailed assessments of potential climate-related risks and proposing effective strategies for mitigation and adaptation. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate the complexities of climate change impacts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive environmental risk assessments focusing on climate change.
• Work collaboratively with teams to integrate sustainability solutions within projects.
• Provide expert consultation to clients on managing and adapting to climate risks.
• Assist in developing internal policies regarding climate risk management.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about local and global climate legislation impacting client operations.
• Write research papers and articles for publication in relevant journals.
• Participate in workshops and conferences to share knowledge and insights.
• Develop tools and software for enhanced risk assessment capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in climate change risk assessment or related field
