We are searching for a passionate Data Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and will have a strong background in data architecture and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain data warehouses and lakes.
• Integrate third-party data sources with internal systems.
• Conduct data analysis to provide insights and recommendations.
• Participate in the planning of data-driven projects.
• Train users on data access and usage best practices.
• Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools.
• Support troubleshooting and performance tuning of data solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in data pipeline development
