Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in East London. As a key member of our practice, you will provide high-quality medical care for animals, perform surgeries, and engage with pet owners to promote animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat a variety of animal species.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Perform emergency surgeries and critical care procedures.
  • Enhance client relationships through proactive communication.
  • Mentor and supervise veterinary interns or students.
  • Engage in community education about animal health.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the clinic environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
  • Foster a positive work culture among staff.
  • Keep abreast of changes in veterinary laws and ethics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Postgraduate studies are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in veterinary care
