We are on the lookout for a skilled Medical Researcher to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in clinical research and a passion for contributing to innovative medical studies. You will be responsible for designing and conducting research projects, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational aspects of clinical trials.
• Document all research activities meticulously.
• Monitor trial progress and report any issues to the Research Director.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing through seminars and workshops.
• Explore new methodologies and technologies to improve research processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Science or related field
• PhD in a related discipline is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical research or academic research

Technical Skills

• Research Design
• Ethics in Research

Soft Skills

• Leadership Skills
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
• Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in public health research: Background in conducting studies relevant to public health issues.
• Skills in advanced statistical software: Proficiency in software such as SPSS, SAS, or R.
