In the role of Certified Pedorthist, you will work closely with patients to assess their foot and lower limb conditions. You'll design and produce custom orthotics while providing footwear recommendations that enhance comfort and mobility.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patient's needs based on clinical assessments and feedback.
Customize orthotic and footwear solutions tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Participate in regular training and continuous professional development sessions.
Ensure the highest standards of quality in the design and production of orthotic products.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
Education
Completion of an accredited Pedorthics program
Certification as a Certified Pedorthist (C. Ped) is essential
Experience
At least 2-3 years in a similar role preferred
