Job Description

Join us in Pretoria as a Clinical Psychologist, where you will provide essential mental health services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in therapy and psychological evaluation, helping clients navigate their mental health issues through evidence-based treatment approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical evaluations and assess patients’ mental health conditions.
  • Engage in evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health strategies and resources.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to determine treatment efficacy.
  • Prepare case reports and documentation for insurance purposes.
  • Develop community outreach programs to promote mental health services.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
