We're looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to tackle exciting projects in Pretoria. This role will require you to develop and implement engineering solutions, balancing creativity and technical expertise to produce outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive structural designs and detailed reports.
• Evaluate construction materials and methods for projects.
• Facilitate on-site evaluations and quality control processes.
• Collaborate closely with contractors to ensure project execution aligns with design intent.
• Engagement in R&D activities related to structural innovations.
• Prepare feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Identify and manage risks associated with structural design.
• Consult with geotechnical and environmental engineers on project needs.
• Provide structural expertise during project commissioning.
• Assist clients with ongoing structural maintenance and assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• STAAD.Pro
• ETABS

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Project Management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Proficiency in drafting and design software: Strong background in structural drafting tools.
