Pharmacist

Job Description

As our new Pharmacist in Gqeberha, you will be at the forefront of patient care, responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and providing valuable advice to our customers. Your expertise will directly contribute to the healthcare community and support improved patient health.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide drug utilisation reviews.
• Engage with patients to discuss medications and potential side effects.
• Work collaboratively with doctors and specialists on complex cases.
• Evaluate medication therapy outcomes and patient responses.
• Provide immunizations and other health services as applicable.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives in the community.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Support pharmacy operations and assist with inventory management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
