Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Sewing Machine Operator who is passionate about fashion. You will be responsible for sewing, assembling, and finishing garments in line with the design specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Sew fabrics together using various sewing techniques.
• Ensure all garments meet quality control standards.
• Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the supervisor.
• Follow production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Work with cutting and assembly departments to coordinate production efforts.
• Participate in production meetings to discuss workflow and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in sewing or fashion design is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant sewing experience in a production environment

• Pattern Making
• Quality Control Practices

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Pattern Cutting: Ability to cut patterns and prepare materials for sewing.
• Familiarity with Design Software: Experience using design software like Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
