Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols to protect company systems and information from unauthorized access and cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Evaluate and improve existing security measures.
• Participate in disaster recovery and incident response planning.
• Collaborate with external security vendors.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
• Generate reports on security incidents and trends.
• Train staff on cybersecurity practices.
• Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats.
• Support system design and deployment from a security perspective.
• Engage in regular vulnerability scanning and remediation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and risk analysis
