CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machines, programming, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Confirm that tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of new machining processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• National Certificate in Engineering or CNC Operations is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in CNC machine operation

• CNC Setup

• Communication Skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Experience implementing lean processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with ISO standards: Awareness and experience in working with ISO compliance.
