Skates Operator

Job Description

The Skates Operator will be responsible for operating skates machinery to move heavy loads across the warehouse floor. They will ensure safe and timely movement of goods while adhering to company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain skates and skating equipment.
• Set up and dismantle the skating rink as needed.
• Assist customers with putting on and taking off skates.
• Ensure cleanliness of the skating rink and equipment.
• Monitor the safety of all customers on the skating rink.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.
• Manage inventory of skating equipment.
• Provide feedback to management on operational improvements.
• Engage with customers to provide assistance and information.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Basic computer skills preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Inventory management
• Forklift operation

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
