Pharmacist

Job Description

Join our team as a Pharmacist where you will play a vital role in patient health. You will dispense medications, provide advice on their proper use, and monitor patient progress. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and has a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical therapies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound medications according to standard protocols.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy and adjust medications as necessary.
• Participate in patient care rounds and contribute to care planning.
• Assist with training and mentoring less experienced pharmacy staff.
• Conduct regular audits of pharmacy records and procedures to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Advanced
