Job Description

As a Psychiatrist at Mental Health Care Solutions, you'll provide holistic care and promote recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. Work hands-on with clients, ensuring their treatment is both effective and compassionate. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care, making a real difference in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose a variety of mental health disorders.
  • Collaborate with a team to enhance patient care and support.
  • Adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
  • Document all patient interactions and maintain confidentiality.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
  • Participate in case consultations and contribute to team discussions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent.
  • Additional training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of outpatient psychiatric care experience.

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
