Job Description

As a Psychiatrist at Mental Health Care Solutions, you'll provide holistic care and promote recovery for individuals facing mental health challenges. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose a variety of mental health disorders.
• Collaborate with a team to enhance patient care and support.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain confidentiality.
• Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
• Participate in case consultations and contribute to team discussions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent.
• Additional training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of outpatient psychiatric care experience.

Certifications

• Licensed Medical Doctor in Psychiatry
• Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

• Research Experience in Psychiatry: Engagement in psychiatric research projects and publications.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
