Are you a pet lover with grooming experience? We want you! As a Pet Groomer at Pet Groomers SA in Johannesburg, you'll be responsible for the grooming and care of our furry clients, ensuring they leave looking fabulous.

Responsibilities

• Groom pets according to breed specifications and client requests.
• Use proper techniques to ensure comfort and safety of all animals.
• Educate pet owners about grooming tips and pet care.
• Assist in handling appointments and following up with customers.
• Participate in ongoing training and development in grooming techniques.
• Manage inventory of grooming supplies and products.
• Work as part of a team to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Further qualifications in animal care preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in grooming or pet care

Technical Skills

• Bathing and styling
• Pet health knowledge

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Team player

Certifications

• Certified Animal Care Professional
• Grooming Techniques Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with special needs pets: Ability to handle and groom pets with special requirements.
• Membership in grooming associations: Active membership in recognized grooming organizations.
