Public Health Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to oversee health programs in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have experience in community health initiatives, knowledge of health policies, and the ability to coordinate outreach efforts to improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate public health programs.
• Engage with community stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
• Develop promotional materials and resources for health education.
• Monitor health trends and participate in health policy development.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation.
• Train and supervise program staff and volunteers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in public health initiatives
