You will have the opportunity to shape spaces that resonate with style and functionality, working closely with clients to bring their visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings with clients to gather input and feedback.
• Outline project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop design concepts using CAD software.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors throughout projects.
• Present design solutions and justifications to clients.
• Monitor and adjust project plans as necessary to meet client satisfaction.
• Utilize local market knowledge to source unique materials.
• Document project progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of diverse interior design experience

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Ability to create compelling graphics and presentations.
• Knowledge of Local Building Codes: Understanding of regulations affecting interior design in South Africa.
