We are seeking a talented Fashion Illustrator to join our creative team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating fashion concepts into stunning illustrations, collaborating with designers and trend analysts to produce visual representations that guide our clothing lines. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail, eager to contribute to innovative designs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design briefs into stunning illustrations.
• Work closely with material suppliers to visualize fabric and material arrangements.
• Attend design meetings to present illustration concepts and receive feedback.
• Research and develop mood boards to inspire new fashion lines.
• Assist in the organization and execution of fashion runway shows.
• Contribute to the company’s visual branding through creative illustration.
• Mentor junior illustrators or interns within the design team.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Fashion Illustration or Design
• Portfolio showcasing fashion illustration skills

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Fashion Software
• Watercolour Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
