Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Travel Consultant who loves to help people plan their adventures. You'll be tasked with managing client interactions, providing expert advice on destinations, and booking travel arrangements that suit their needs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Create customized travel plans that meet clients' specific needs.
• Negotiate contracts with hotel and service providers.
• Track bookings and ensure all details are accurate.
• Utilize travel booking systems effectively.
• Provide after-sales support for all travel arrangements.
• Attend travel expos and workshops to enhance knowledge.
• Promote special offers and packages through various channels.
• Work towards achieving sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Travel Management or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in travel sales or consultancy

• Travel Software Applications
• Booking Management

Certifications

• Certified Travel Associate (CTA)
• Destination Specialist Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with adventure travel: Experience in planning adventure travel itineraries.
• Fluent in additional languages: Ability to communicate in French or German is a plus.
