Job Description

The Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision drilling and boring machines to create high-quality components as per specifications. Attention to detail is critical to ensure that all parts meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pin components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) based on provided schematics.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the assembly process.
• Monitor quality during the production process and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work in adherence to ISO standards for quality management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or apprenticeship in electronics or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB assembly or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Knowledge of PCB design software (such as Eagle or Altium)
• Experience with soldering equipment and other hand tools

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with surface mount technology (SMT): Experience in working with advanced PCB assembly methods.
• Knowledge of IPC standards for PCB assembly: Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
