We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of security protocols, intrusion detection systems, and cyber risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat assessments and recommend improvements.
• Integrate security practices into software development lifecycle.
• Lead internal investigations into security breaches.
• Report on the effectiveness of security measures.
• Liaise with external security vendors and partners.
• Document and communicate security incidents to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISM or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
