Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Sandton. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our digital assets, conducting regular security assessments, and helping to strengthen our security protocols. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage security solutions including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Respond swiftly to security incidents and breaches.
• Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for security protocols.
• Generate and distribute security-related metrics to stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for security incidents.
• Assist in the preparation of audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or similar
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a cybersecurity role
