Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled Cutting and Slicing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in operating and maintaining cutting machines, ensuring precision and high-quality outputs in our production line.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for production runs based on job specifications.
• Ensure machines are properly calibrated for quality outputs.
• Conduct quality checks on slices and report variances.
• Keep a detailed log of production runs and machine adjustments.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with the production team to optimize workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for better efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric with technical subjects preferred
• National Certificate in Machine Operation is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a production environment

Technical Skills

• Slicing Machine Operation
• Data Entry

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Certification
• First Aid Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
