Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Health First Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our customers. Your main responsibilities will include dispensing medications, advising patients on the use of prescriptions, and providing health consultations. We are looking for an individual who is committed to exceptional patient care and has a passion for the pharmaceutical field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Conduct regular reviews of patient medication therapy.
• Assist in training and mentoring pharmacy staff.
• Engage with the community to increase pharmacy services awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Advanced Certification in Pharmacy Practice is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy

• Clinical Assessment

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience with health promotion activities: Prior involvement in community health awareness programs.
