Environmental Engineer

Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer in Durban, you will play a crucial role in assessing environmental impact and developing sustainable solutions. You will conduct important research, design projects, and collaborate with various stakeholders to advance our environmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to assess and mitigate environmental impacts.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to clients.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated on environmental legislation and standards.
• Negotiate with regulatory bodies on environmental issues.
• Assist in the development of environmental management systems.
• Support research initiatives and grant applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related engineering discipline
• Certification in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
