DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will leverage your experience in cloud technologies and DevOps practices to enhance our software deployment processes and improve service reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execute drills.
• Provide technical support for cloud-based applications.
• Evaluate and implement new tools for system management and monitoring.
• Maintain and improve storage solutions on cloud platforms.
• Review and analyze system logs to optimize resource utilization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with hands-on cloud experience

• Terraform

Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment to facilitate fast-paced development.
