Job Description

Looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Accountant to enhance our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The candidate will manage financial records, perform reconciliations, and assist in the preparation of financial statements. Your ability to interpret financial information and maintain compliance will be key in supporting our operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial data to assist in strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes.
• Support ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop financial models to assist in decision-making.
• Review financial documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct audits and provide recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Master's degree in Business Administration is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a senior accounting role preferred

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant qualification preferred
• Professional Tax Consultant Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting solutions: Experience with tools like Xero or QuickBooks Online.
