Dyer Helper

Job Description

The Dyer Helper plays a crucial role in assisting the Dyer by preparing and dyeing fabrics to meet client specifications. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix dyes according to specifications.
• Assist in the operation of dyeing machines and troubleshooting issues.
• Conduct pre- and post-dyeing inspections of fabric.
• Assess dye quality and address any discrepancies immediately.
• Help in managing inventory of dyes and materials.
• Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in team meetings for continuous improvement.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Relevant training in textile dyeing processes is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Languages
