Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative architectural solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulatory requirements. You will lead projects from conception through to completion, working closely with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create and alter architectural plans ensuring compliance with building regulations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the project phases.
• Review project progress and adjust designs as necessary.
• Utilize architectural software tools to assist in project management.
• Participate in community outreach and engagement about projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Professional qualifications in Architecture are advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in architectural projects

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• BIM Technology

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Registered Architect with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)
• SACAP CPD Accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Understanding of municipal building codes: Knowledge of local building codes will be an advantage.
• Leadership experience in architectural projects: Proven experience in leading project teams effectively.
