Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our tight-knit team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues while providing support and guidance to pet owners.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to detect illnesses or injuries.
  • Carry out surgical and therapeutic procedures as required.
  • Provide pain management and post-operative care.
  • Engage with pet owners to answer questions and provide guidance.
  • Work closely with rescue organizations and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with specialists when advanced care is needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical veterinary experience
