Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in Pretoria. You will play a crucial role in the production line, ensuring machines are running efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machinery and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and equipment for production processes.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Assist in the training of new operators and staff.
• Help develop and implement production schedules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report any issues to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical work is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in machine operation

Technical Skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Production process knowledge

Certifications

• Machinery Safety Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• Zulu: Fluent
