Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our dedicated team in Pietermaritzburg. In this role, you will analyze production processes and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. You will also collaborate with other engineers and departments to design processes that optimize productivity and minimize waste.

Responsibilities

• Create and support engineering solutions to improve product quality and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate manufacturing systems to reduce waste and improve safety.
• Work closely with management to prepare budgets for engineering projects.
• Assess the effectiveness of current production methods and make recommendations for change.
• Develop training programs for staff on new processes and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's in Industrial Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in a similar engineering role
