Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Learning and Development Officer to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering employee growth and development through the design and implementation of effective training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and teach interactive workshops for various teams.
• Prepare reports and presentations on training metrics.
• Engage with employees to motivate them to participate in learning initiatives.
• Develop succession planning and career development paths.
• Act as a liaison for all learning and development initiatives across the organisation.
• Promote an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles.
• Evaluate new tools and systems for training and development.
• Conduct follow-up evaluations to assess the application of learning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, or related field
• Postgraduate diploma in Education or Learning and Development is desirable

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in corporate training or a similar role
