Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Port Elizabeth team. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our information systems. The successful candidate will have experience with threat analysis, risk assessment, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing security infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Develop incident response strategies and carry out drills.
• Research and recommend security technologies and tools.
• Create and maintain documentation related to security practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in cybersecurity roles

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Security Audits: Hands-on experience in conducting security audits.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards: Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and implementation is a plus.
