We are seeking an Insurance Underwriter to join our fast-paced team. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze risk factors and develop comprehensive insurance policies that address our clients’ unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage options.
• Analyze risk factors to ensure appropriate underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with agents and clients to gather necessary documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions and assessments.
• Review and adjust policy terms and conditions as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations impacting underwriting processes.
• Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters and team members.
• Assist in developing pricing models and underwriting guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their insurance needs and options.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss underwriting practices and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting

• Risk Assessment

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)

Languages
