Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily operations at our Johannesburg facility. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, optimize warehouse layout, and lead a team of warehouse associates.

Responsibilities

• Create a strategic plan for resource allocation in the warehouse.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and machinery.
• Facilitate communication between warehouse teams and other departments.
• Analyze data to identify areas for cost reduction and optimization.
• Initiate improvements in inventory tracking systems.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Lead weekly meetings to review operational goals and progress.
• Implement technology solutions for process improvement.
• Cultivate a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop a succession plan for warehouse leadership.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• A diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in warehouse operations with a focus on team management
