Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager in Durban who will be responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to manage large teams, and experience in logistics management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and coordinate logistics activities.
• Implement inventory control processes to minimize loss and waste.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Lead the team to achieve operational KPIs and service levels.
• Prepare and review reports on warehouse performance and efficiency.
• Develop strategies for improving warehouse layout and processes.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and transport providers.
• Conduct training programs to enhance team skills and safety awareness.
• Facilitate communication between warehouse and other departments.
• Assess and manage warehouse budgets and resources effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics roles
