Job Description

Join our team as an Investment Banking Analyst and contribute to exciting financial projects. You will assist in conducting valuations, preparing presentations, and engaging with clients to help facilitate the successful execution of transactions in the competitive investment banking landscape.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analyses and modeling to support client proposals.
• Assist in preparing pitch books and presentations for client meetings.
• Participate in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions.
• Monitor market trends and analyze impacts on clients' businesses.
• Support senior team members with transaction execution.
• Prepare and review industry research to inform client strategies.
• Engage in client interactions and contribute to relationship-building.
• Provide insights on regulatory and compliance issues affecting clients.
• Collaborate within a team to develop innovative client solutions.
• Identify opportunities for revenue generation for our client base.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or financial analysis

Technical Skills

• Financial Modelling
• Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication
• Detail-Oriented

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 (or higher)
• ACCA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Proficient
