Job Description

As an Accountant at Local Accounting Firm in Paarl, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial health. You will handle tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and tax preparation. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with annual budgets and financial forecasting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience

Technical Skills

• Financial Reporting

Languages

• English: Fluent
