Job Description

HealthFirst Pharmacy is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacist. In this role, you will provide consultations, oversee pharmacy operations, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. Your commitment to patient care will be pivotal in our pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflows.
• Assess patient medication requests and provide safe alternatives.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public about health.
• Document all patient interactions in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient health outcomes and provide follow-up services.
• Provide support for clinical trials as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge

Certifications

• CPD Accreditation in Pharmacy

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous
