Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pounder to join our team. The Pounder will be responsible for operating and maintaining pounders used in various construction projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating heavy machinery and possess strong physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate pounders effectively across various terrains.
• Monitor and manage equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead safety meetings and promote safety practices on-site.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery usage.
• Evaluate and report on machinery performance and issues.
• Engage in team-based problem solving to overcome project challenges.
• Utilize hand tools and other machinery for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to meet changing project needs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Support site supervisors in coordinating workflow.

Requirements

Education

• Additional certifications in construction or related field (advantageous)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
