We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ditch Cleaner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning ditches and drains to prevent flooding and water damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage drainage systems to ensure efficiency.
• Create and implement schedules for regular inspections and cleanings.
• Assist in emergency response and cleanup during severe weather anomalies.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve cleaning processes.
• Work in collaboration with team members to achieve operational targets.
• Adhere to environmental regulations during cleaning and maintenance.
• Train new employees in safety practices and equipment usage.
• Evaluate the condition of equipment and report any issues.
• Engage with the community to foster positive relationships.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
