Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Feeder and Offbearer to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for sorting and processing various scrap materials, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sorting machines and equipment safely and effectively.
• Monitor machinery operations to ensure optimal processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure safe working conditions.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Ability to drive a forklift: Forklift certification and experience is a plus.
