Job Description

As a Data Scientist in our Pretoria office, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing algorithms, and utilizing statistical tools to improve the performance of our services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statistical analyses to identify patterns and trends.
• Translate business problems into data science tasks.
• Develop data collection processes and data storage systems.
• Mentor junior data analysts on best practices in data analytics.
• Facilitate workshops to teach data skills across the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis or modeling
