Job Description

We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety. A strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality radiographic imaging techniques.
  • Actively engage in patient communication to ease anxieties.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Follow departmental protocols for patient positioning and imaging.
  • Contribute to the overall goals of the radiology department.
  • Support junior staff and interns in daily tasks.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Radiography or equivalent
  • Advanced certification in Medical Imaging is a plus
Experience
  • 3 years of experience preferred in a clinical setting

  • Ability to Conduct Ultrasound Procedures: Experience with ultrasound imaging is beneficial.
