Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Civil Engineer who is ready to take on challenging projects in the Bloemfontein area. This role requires a solid foundation in engineering principles, project management, and a passion for enhancing urban infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while meeting quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve work completed by contractors.
• Foster client relationships through regular updates and communications.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to apply best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering project management.
